A little bit about us!

MAPLE HILLS

Maple Hills is located on the Key Peninsula in Gig Harbor, Washington. The Peninsula is a beautiful area with a lot of open undeveloped land. There are alot of beautiful trees, wildlife and the Peninsula is surrounded by the bay. It is a gorgeous place to live, with beautiful sunsets, beautiful mountain views, fresh air and all the peace and serenity you could ever ask for. We love it here! Muellers Sierra.

My husand and I were first introduced to the mini aussie breed in 1997 when we adopted a beautiful blue merle mini aussie that we named Sierra. Sierra was so much fun and gave us so much joy that we fell in love with this breed right from the start. We soon learned how eager to please and how smart this breed was and made a decision to get much more involved in the breed. Maple Hills Magic Girl (foundation female)

Maple Hills was truly established in 2000 when we adopted a beautiful black tri mini aussie that we named Magic Girl and registered our kennel name "Maple Hills". Maple Hills Magic Girl became our foundation bitch as we quickly learned that Sierra was not the best of quality for breeding purposes. We ended up finding a good home for Sierra and Magic took off and started everything here at Maple Hills rolling. Even though we decided to go this route we will always remember Sierra and always keep her in our hearts. Magic began producing phenomenal babies and gave us super nice quality puppies. We have kept Magics daughter (Brandy) and one of her granddaughters (Lacey) for our breeding program. Magic has retired now but she still holds her reign as queen here at Maple Hills. She enjoys her new job, babysitting the puppies! Kennel Area for our dogs

Our kennels are large and sit on 1/2 an acre of fenced in secure land. There are large heated kennels in this area for the dogs. There are alot of trees for shade and lots of room to run in the play area. Our kennel area sits on 8 more acres of land. Our dogs get to run, play and explore this land daily.

Our dogs are indoor/outdoor dogs. They get the best of both worlds! They enjoy coming inside, sleeping with us, watching tv with us and they enjoy going outside to run and play together in our large aussie run. Our dogs are kenneled when we are unable to to take them with us for their safety! All Maple Hills aussies are NSDR and CKC registered All Maple Hills breeding aussies are CERF cleared and OFA rated.
